One of the best ways to invest in yourself sometimes can involve doing even the smallest things. During the month of June I am focusing on investing in myself through educational experiences and even short day trips so that I can come back to my clients refreshed. Below I made a short list of a few things you can do to invest in yourself this summer.

Buy a new book or grab a new read from the library: Go to a local bookstore or library and pick up a new read. Whether fiction or nonfiction it can be nice to slow down in the summer months and take some time to read. Personally my next book is The High 5 Habit by Mel Robbins

Try a new restaurant: Here in New Jersey we are so lucky to have so many restaurants with outdoor seating allowing us to enjoy the warm weather. As a fun way to treat myself I like to try a new place and invite a few friends to join me. This way I get to try a new place, take some time away from work, and most importantly spend time with those I love

Take a course or webinar online (there’s usually lots of free ones): like the one we are offering at TFG on June 14th at 1pm EST. Join us here at TFG for a virtual Masterclass where we will talk about turning the life you dream about into a reality. To register go to https://tanisfingroup.com/masterclass/

Take a day trip: Take a break even if it’s just for a day. Since I live in New Jersey I either take to the mountains or the beach. Even taking a quick hike one morning (before that summer heat starts up)

Put an hour on the calendar to look at your finances: We are almost at the halfway point of 2022 (scary I know). Put some time on the calendar this month to sit down and take a look at your finances. Get an idea of where your spending is and maybe take some to write down some big expenses that will be coming during the second half of the year.
